Oven-Roasted Garlic Tomatoes

They turn out delicious, as heating the tomatoes enhances the flavor of the garlic and spices.

  • 8 tomatoes, ripe round
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 1 clove garlic, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 gram basil

  • Preheat the oven to 350º F. Place the tomatoes in a pot of boiling water for one minute to make them easier to peel, then cut them in half.
  • I place them on a baking sheet and sprinkle the chopped onion and garlic over them. I add olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Finally, a small piece of garlic.
  • Put them in the hot oven to brown. Serve immediately garnished with a basil leaf.
