Sweet potatoes are super nutritious as they are very high in calcium, potassium, and fiber. If you are trying to eat healthily, replace potatoes with this delicious recipe for oven-roasted sweet potatoes with maple syrup.
1250 grams sweet potato, peeled and cut into slices or chunks
1 dash olive oil
1 tablespoon maple syrup
5 grams sea salt
5 grams nutmeg

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees (425 F).
On a pyrex, place aluminum foil and add the sweet potatoes cut into pieces. Sprinkle everything with salt, pepper, and oil. Stir to coat everything. Place in the oven for 20 minutes.
Remove the sweet potatoes from the oven and stir in the maple syrup.
Return the sweet potatoes to the oven until they start to brown (after about 7 minutes, take everything out and stir again). Let cook for a total of 15 minutes.
To serve, sprinkle the sweet potatoes with sea salt and a little nutmeg.
