Parmesan Rice

This rice recipe pairs very well with meat or chicken. The parmesan cheese adds a very tasty and original touch to the rice.

  • 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch pepper

  • In a large pot, bring the chicken broth and water to a boil.
  • Add the rice and continue cooking until it boils.
  • Cover the pot, reduce to low heat, and cook until the rice is cooked and has absorbed all the water.
  • Add the parmesan cheese and pepper and stir a little with a fork (without beating the rice).
  • Let the cheese melt for at least 5 minutes before serving.
