Colombian Potatoes

Try this delicious side dish of Colombian potatoes; they are a delight as the tomato sauce with cream cheese and the grated cheese make them irresistible. You can't miss making them and treating your whole family with them.

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 cups tomato purée
  • 30 grams cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 tablespoons flour

  • Place the potatoes in a pot of boiling water until they are cooked.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a pan, add the butter until it melts, then the flour, and then the milk. Add the oregano and mix everything well.
  • Pour in the tomato puree, the cream cheese, and mix until perfectly combined.
  • Peel the potatoes and slice them, then place them in a baking dish, add the sauce we made, and then the grated cheese.
  • Repeat this process until the baking dish is full.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
