Dairy-Free Mashed Potatoes

  • 5 potatoes
  • 200 milliliters olive oil
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper

  • Boil the peeled potatoes for 30 minutes in a pot of water.
  • When they are soft, drain the excess water and mash the potatoes completely, using the hot water to assist.
  • Sauté the chopped onion and garlic in olive oil; add them to the potatoes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Put the mixture in a piping bag and form flowers on a baking sheet.
  • Spray oil on top and bake at 160°C until lightly golden.
