French Fries

Try these delicious French fries, an ideal tapa for snacking or accompanying your meals. This recipe turns out delicious and is easy to make.

  • 1 kilo potato , cut into large pieces
  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cups fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • salt
  • dried thyme
  • 1 kilo tomato
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 40 grams brown sugar
  • 1/4 cups white vinegar
  • ground cloves
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons mustard
  • cinnamon
  • sweet paprika

  • Preheat the oven to 230°C.
  • Mix the previously cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste on a greased baking sheet. Make sure they are not piled up.
  • Bake the potatoes for 20 minutes, flip them, and bake for another 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, sprinkle with parsley and thyme, serve.
  • For the homemade ketchup: Boil the tomatoes and cut them into cubes.
  • Sauté the chopped onion and garlic. Add the diced tomato and let it cook on low heat for 40 minutes or until it forms a paste.
  • Blend the mixture, add vinegar, salt, and spices.
  • Return to the heat, stirring frequently until it thickens. Let cool and refrigerate in a glass container.
