Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  • 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 3/4 cups butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, in thin slices

  • Heat a pot with water, wait for it to boil and add salt; cook the potatoes in it for 20 minutes. Set aside.
  • Heat the heavy cream, butter, garlic, oregano in a pot over medium heat and season with salt and pepper; keep on the heat for 5 minutes. Let it rest.
  • With the help of a potato masher, mash the potatoes and gradually add the cream mixture, mix well and set aside.
  • Serve the mashed potatoes with olive oil and garnish with a sprig of rosemary.
