Spanish Potatoes

  • 2 cups Manchego cheese
  • 1 can table cream
  • 8 california (anaheim) chili peppers, baked
  • 1 stick unsalted butter

  • Parboil the potatoes in slices in salted water.
  • Grease a baking dish with butter.
  • Put a layer of potatoes, another layer of sliced peppers, another layer of cheese, cream, and butter, and then repeat the same procedure again.
  • Place in the oven covered with aluminum foil for about thirty to forty minutes; uncover a few minutes before removing from the oven.
