Stuffed Potato Roll with Ham and Cheese

Prepare this original baked potato roll filled with a blend of cheeses such as mozzarella, gouda, manchego, and cream cheese flavored with herbs and dried chives, along with some ham. This roll with melted cheese in the center will be perfect to share with your favorite person. The combination of potato, cheese, and ham is always delicious.

  • 10 potatoes, grated, for potato mixture
  • 3 eggs, for potato mixture
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper, for potato mixture
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg, for potato mixture
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch, for potato mixture
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fine herbs
  • 1 tablespoon chives, dried
  • 1 cup Manchego cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup cheese, mix of mozzarella, gouda, and cheddar
  • 10 slices deli ham
  • salad, for accompaniment

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Grate the potatoes with the medium and fine grater to achieve two different grates of potato. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the potato mixture and set aside.
  • On a baking sheet, place wax paper and spread the potato mixture, bake for 20 minutes or until the potato is well cooked.
  • In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with the herbs and chives, cream it enough to achieve a spreadable mixture. Set aside.
  • Remove the potato from the oven, fill with cheeses, ham, and spread the cream cheese mixture. Roll up and bake for another 10 minutes to melt the cheese.
  • Slice, serve with a small salad, and enjoy
