Vegan Málaga Potatoes

This wonderful recipe has been passed down four generations in my family, and it always surprises with its distinctive flavor. Give them a try!

  • 2 kilos potato
  • flour , the necessary

  • pepper, a pinch
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil

  • Preheat the oven to medium/high temperature.
  • If you prefer, you can peel the potatoes; otherwise, leave them with the skin and wash them well.
  • Cut the potatoes into approximately 1 cm thick slices.
  • Meanwhile, in a bowl, place the flour, season it with salt, pepper, and if you prefer, chives, oregano, or any spice you like. Mix.
  • Moisten the entire surface of a potato with olive oil.
  • Coat each potato slice individually (No, it does not require egg; the flour will stick to the potato with its own juice) and arrange them side by side on the baking tray.
  • Bake until golden, turning each slice and baking again until golden on the other side.
  • Serve hot, and enjoy!
