Rice with Turkey Sausage

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 Turkey Fud® Sausages, 500 g
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/4 white onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup rice, soaked
  • 2 cups chicken broth, hot
  • cilantro
  • vegetable oil, for frying the rice
  • 1/2 cups carrot, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cups potato, cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 cups peas
  • cilantro, for decoration

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the FUD® Turkey Sausages for 3 minutes. Set aside.
  • For the rice, blend the tomato with the white onion and garlic. Set aside. Fry the rice with enough vegetable oil for about 10 minutes, until golden, then add the carrot, potato, peas, blended tomato, and cook for 5 minutes, until absorbed. Add the chicken broth and cilantro, cover, and let cook for 20 minutes on low heat. Once the rice is cooked, add the sausages and remove from heat.
