Chipotle Rice

This chipotle rice is perfect to accompany all your meals, prepare this recipe and surprise your guests with this original dish.

  • 1 envelope Knorr® seasoning Miarroz®
  • 1 1/2 cups long grain rice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups carrot , finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups corn kernel , yellow
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cups chicken broth, (white background)
  • 1/3 cups chipotle chile in adobo sauce
  • 2 cups fresh cilantro
  • pepper, to taste

  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, carrot, and corn kernels, and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add the rice and cook for 1 more minute. Add the water, the Knorr® Sazonador MiArroz® packet, and allow it to come to a boil. Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is ready and all the water is absorbed.
  • For the chipotle sauce, blend the chipotle, cilantro, white broth, garlic, and pepper.
  • Mix the sauce with the rice and serve, garnished with sprigs of cilantro.
