500 grams short grain white rice, rinsed
500 milliliters water
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt

Wash the rice until the water runs clear.
Put the rice and water in a pot over high heat until it boils.
Reduce heat and cover.
Cook for 15 minutes.
Turn off and let it sit covered for 10 minutes.
In a pot, mix the vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
Add the vinegar mixture to the rice and stir.
