Rice with Broccoli

Delicious rice with broccoli and yellow cheese that kids will love.

  • 1 stick unsalted butter , (90 g)
  • 2 leaves bay
  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 tablespoon dry chicken broth or bouillon
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons yellow cheese , liquid
  • 1 can cream of mushroom, (small)

  • In a pan, melt 1/2 stick of butter with 2 bay leaves until lightly browned.
  • Pour in a cup of rice and let it cook until it turns golden.
  • Add 2 cups of chicken broth.
  • Place the broccoli pieces in the pan, cover, and cook until 3/4 of the rice is cooked without the broth evaporating. At that moment, add 2 tablespoons of liquid yellow cheese and cream of mushroom soup, stir. Cook for a maximum of 5 minutes.
