Sesame Rice

Delicious sesame rice that you can make for any weekday meal with leftover chicken.

  • 1 cup brown rice, previously cooked
  • sesame seeds
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 pinch curry powder
  • chicken breasts, previously cooked in strips
  • garlic pieces Mccormick® , or garlic paste
  • olive oil

  • Put two tablespoons of olive oil or any oil you have in a preferably non-stick skillet. Add the garlic, the onion cut into julienne strips, then add two tablespoons of sesame seeds and let them brown. Finally, add the carrot sticks and the curry.
  • Sauté all the ingredients for 2 minutes over medium-low heat and add the brown rice. Adjust the salt and sauté for one more minute. Add the soy sauce, leave on the heat for 1 more minute, and serve immediately.
