If you love Asian food, here’s a recipe for onigiri that you can make with leftover rice from the previous day. Try it, it's a great option as a snack or appetizer!, you will love its flavor.
Mix in a bowl the cooked rice with the rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, sugar, oyster sauce, honey, egg, and rice flour until completely integrated. You should obtain a slightly moist mixture.
Place an 8-centimeter diameter ring in a pan with hot sesame oil, pour a bit of the previous mixture with a compact spoon and fry over medium-low heat for 3 minutes without removing the ring; once the time has elapsed, remove the ring and flip the patty; cook until fully fried. Repeat until all the dough is used.
Coat the rice circles with soy sauce, add black and white sesame seeds, place a rectangle of nori seaweed. Serve with soy sauce.
