Spanish-Style Rice

A rice dish with a different flavor prepared in the pressure cooker. This makes it ready in no time. It is made with tomato puree, bell pepper, bay leaf, and onion. A different and delicious side dish. Give it a try.

  • 1/2 cups rice
  • 1 cup onion, slices
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cups tomato purée
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 green bell pepper, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 leaf bay
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can red bell pepper

  • Wash the rice with cold water and drain it.
  • Inside the pressure cooker, fry the sliced onions until they are golden.
  • Add the remaining ingredients to the pot and mix them, cook under pressure for 7 to 14 minutes on low heat. Release the pressure with cold water.
