This recipe gives an unexpected twist to Mexican rice by adding some fava beans and the spicy flavor of morita chili. Try it! You will love it and it will be a great complement to your meal.
1 dried morita chile, seeded and deveined, soaked in hot water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 3/4 cups water

Blend the morita chili with the water perfectly.
Pour the water with morita into a rice cooker along with the contents of the Knorr® Mexican Rice package and the oil. Mix and combine everything well. Add the fava beans.
Bring to a boil over high heat. Once it boils, cover and reduce the heat. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
