Squid Rice

This squid rice has an original flavor and is very easy to make; the presentation will look great on your table.

  • 2 cans Albo® squid in ink
  • 1 onion, medium
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 400 grams tomato, ripe
  • 1 glass rice
  • herb, aromatic
  • 1/2 glasses red wine, small
  • olive oil
  • salt, and black pepper

  • Peel and chop the onion and garlic into pieces.
  • Sauté in a pan with a drizzle of oil, and when browned, add the diced tomatoes, aromatic herbs, salt, and black pepper.
  • Pass this sauce through a strainer, bring it to the pan, add the red wine, and incorporate all the contents of the cans of squid.
  • Let the wine reduce a bit while stirring constantly.
  • Accompany with white rice that we have cooked in 2 cups of lightly salted water for 20 minutes.
