Turkey Stuffing

  • 2 bolillo rolls
  • 1/4 cups butter
  • 1 1/3 cups onion, chopped
  • 1 1/3 cups carrot, chopped
  • 1 1/3 cups celery, cut into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • Preheat the oven to 180° C
  • Cut the bread into cubes and bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 180°C.
  • In a skillet with butter, cook the onion, carrot, and celery for 10 minutes.
  • Add the lemon zest and walnuts.
  • Mix the bread with everything else.
  • Preheat the mixture covered for 40 minutes, then uncover and cook for an additional 10 minutes until the top is crispy.
