Buttered Peas with Bacon

What better combination than peas with bacon and butter to give a different touch to your dish.

  • 2 cups peas
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 teaspoons garlic pieces Mccormick®
  • 1/4 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
  • chicken consommé
  • 4 slices bacon

  • Cut the bacon into small cubes, put it in a pan, and fry it until golden. Once ready, remove it and place it on a paper towel to absorb the excess fat.
  • Place the peas in a pot with water to cook. When they are ready, remove them and put them in a bowl with water and ice (this will help maintain the color). Drain.
  • Put the peas in a pan with butter, garlic, onion, and broth. Add the bacon pieces.
