Creamed Spinach Recipe

Try this delicious creamed spinach, as it is full of flavor thanks to Bionda® Ricotta, which will give a special touch to this side dish ideal for a barbecue.

  • 1 cup Bionda® cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, diced
  • 1/2 cups onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 cups spinach, thinly sliced
  • salt, for seasoning
  • pepper, for seasoning
  • 1/4 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Bionda® cottage cheese, for accompaniment
  • baguette, sliced

  • Blend Bionda® Ricotta, sour cream, whole milk, salt, and pepper for 3 minutes until you have a homogeneous mixture. Set aside.
  • Heat the butter in a cast iron skillet, cook the onion and garlic for 5 minutes or until slightly golden, add the spinach and cook for 2 more minutes. Add the blended mixture of Bionda® Ricotta, mix well, and cook on low heat for 5 more minutes. Add the parmesan cheese and remove from heat.
  • Serve the creamed spinach in the same skillet and accompany with Bionda® Ricotta and baguette bread.
