Cut the tips and strings off the green beans. Wash them and cut them into medium pieces. Cook them in hot salted water.
In a skillet, fry the bacon without adding oil, drain some of the fat that comes from the bacon and finish frying the bacon together with the parsley and onion until the onion is translucent. Add the green beans.
Let the green beans blanch with the preparation. Add the tomato and season with salt and pepper.
Let the preparation simmer for a while, add the broth and baking soda, and cook over medium heat until everything is well cooked. Serve hot.
