Mexican-Style Green Beans

Some delicious Mexican green beans that you can serve as a side dish or for dinner when we're on a diet. They are super easy to make!

  • 1/2 kilos green beans
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • butter
  • baking soda
  • salt
  • 2 tomatoes, seedless, cut into cubes

  • Cut the pieces of the green beans on a diagonal.
  • Boil the green beans with half an onion, salt, and a little bit of baking soda.
  • When they are tender, remove them from the heat and drain.
  • Put them back on the heat with a little bit of butter.
  • Add the tomato and let it cook for 3 more minutes, and it's ready.
