Tuna Stuffed Mushrooms with Cheese

Delicious tuna stuffed mushrooms covered with melted cheese, you can serve them as an appetizer or snack or as a side dish on your menu of the day.

  • 2 cans tuna
  • 2 cups button mushrooms, clean and stem removed
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • cheeses, for melting, grated
  • 1 clove garlic
  • olive oil
  • chipotle chiles, (optional)

  • Clean 12 mushrooms and remove the stems, place them on a baking sheet with a little olive oil.
  • Clean and chop into small cubes, 1 Onion 1 Bell Pepper (your choice of color; in my case, I prefer red; the more colorful, the more pleasant to the eye, especially if there are children at home).
  • In 1 tablespoon of olive oil, sauté the garlic, onion, and bell pepper; when the pepper is soft, remove the garlic and add the tuna. At this point in the preparation, if desired, you can add chipotle chili for a spicy touch. Adjust salt if necessary and add. Remove from heat.
  • Fill the mushrooms with the tuna mixture we have cleaned on the baking sheet and place grated melting cheese on top.
  • With the oven preheated to 200°C, place the baking sheet with the mushrooms until the cheese melts.
