Onion Jam

  • 800 grams onion
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cups honey
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • salt , and pepper

  • Slice the onions finely in julienne.
  • Melt the butter and add the onions, season with salt and pepper. Let the onions sauté over low heat.
  • Add the honey and cook until well combined with the onions.
  • Add the vinegar and stir well.
  • Remove from heat and once cooled, serve.
