White Rice with Beans

Rice is not only traditional in Eastern cuisine; in Mexico, it has also become very traditional, so prepare this recipe for white rice with beans.

  • 1 can ear corn
  • 1 can bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 can beans, whole
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pinch basil, dry, ground
  • salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoons dry chicken broth or bouillon
