In a pot, brown the chicken with butter on both sides. Remove it and add all the vegetables, except for the potatoes, and sauté until they start to brown.
Add the potatoes, chicken, and 2 liters of water. Season with salt and pepper and cook covered until the vegetables are tender and the chicken is cooked through.
Remove the chicken, cut it into cubes, and return it to the soup. When it is boiling, add the pasta and cook until it's just right.
Adjust the seasoning and serve.
