  • Melt the butter in a medium pot. Sauté the onion, garlic, and asparagus for 10 minutes.
  • Blend the sautéed asparagus, cream, and milk in a blender.
  • Return the mixture to the pot over low heat, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • Melt the butter in a medium skillet. Fry the shrimp for 5 minutes or until cooked. Add the thyme, season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • For assembly: serve the asparagus cream in a deep plate, add 1 tablespoon of sour cream, 3 shrimp, and garnish with basil leaves.
