Cilantro Pasta Cream

A creative and delicious combination of pasta, to thicken and add flavor to a cilantro cream. The flavor can vary; we can use the same procedure if we want it with celery, peas, lettuce, peppers, etc. The variety to create different creams is unlimited, and the pasta enhances the flavor spectacularly. You will never want to stop making your creams with my suggestion.

  • 1 package bowtie pasta, La Moderna 220 g
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • salt
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro, clean and disinfected
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cups whipping cream
  • 1 liter cow's milk
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 piece onion
  • árbol chiles, cilantro leaves and cream for decoration

  • In a pan, we melt the butter together with the oil, and there we fry the package of bowtie pasta, stirring constantly to brown it. Once the pasta is golden, we drain the excess fat.
  • We blend in the blender the bunch of cilantro, the golden La Moderna bowtie pasta, the garlic, the onion, and the chicken broth.
  • We heat a large pot over medium flame and pour in what we blended. Gradually add the milk to avoid lumps. Season with salt.
  • We let the cilantro soup simmer for a couple of minutes and add the tempered cream to avoid curdling.
  • We mix perfectly and let it come to a boil. Enjoy a novel cilantro pasta cream
