Walnut and Chipotle Cream

This walnut cream recipe can be the perfect warm appetizer for your December dinners. With a creamy and fruity spicy touch, thanks to the accompaniment of grapes, this cream has a special flavor and is very easy to make, as you only need to follow three steps to prepare it. If the cream thickens too much during cooking, you can add more chicken broth or milk.

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle chile

  • Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion, garlic, walnuts, and set aside.
  • Blend the walnuts with the cream, chicken broth, and chipotle. Set aside.
  • In a small pot over medium heat, melt the butter, pour in the walnut cream, season with salt, pepper, and thyme, and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Serve the cream in a soup bowl, garnish with sour cream, grapes, and walnuts.
