Gratinated Tomato and Thyme Soup

Prepare this delicious tomato and thyme soup with a delightful touch of white wine, it's a very easy recipe to make in addition to being exquisite. It's topped with manchego cheese, which makes it even more spectacular.

  • 1 liter Del Fuerte® seasoned tomato sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cups white wine
  • 1 sprig thyme
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 6 slices Manchego cheese
  • bread, to accompany

  • Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  • Blend the Del Fuerte® Seasoned Tomato Puree with sour cream, white wine, and thyme.
  • In a saucepan, heat the butter, add the garlic, pour in the previous preparation, and cook for 10 minutes over low heat.
  • Pour the soup into a deep plate, add the manchego cheese, and broil for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot, accompanied by bread.
