Bean Soup with Pasta

  • 200 grams white bean, cooked
  • 100 grams spaghetti, The Modern
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 sprig celery
  • 1 sprig cinnamon
  • 1 liter beef broth
  • 200 grams deli ham, cut into cubes
  • 125 grams bacon, chopped
  • 1 red onion
  • 100 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 sprig parsley , or basil
  • pinches coarse salt
  • 2 black peppercorns
  • 30 milliliters olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 leaf bay

  • Finely chop the onion and garlic. Cut the vegetables into small cubes.
  • Preheat the skillet, once ready sauté the bacon along with the onion until it changes color. At that moment, add the garlic.
  • Add the vegetables to the previous cooking and sauté them. Meanwhile, in another pot, prepare the pasta until it is al dente (cook in water with oil, salt, and a bay leaf).
  • Once the vegetables are crispy, add the broth, cinnamon, and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • Once the broth has boiled, add the beans and ham.
  • On the other hand, once the pasta is al dente, drain it in a bowl and add olive oil so it doesn't stick.
  • Adjust the seasoning of the soup. You can add the pasta to the broth at this moment or to the plate when serving.
