Rich Pasta Soup with Vegetables

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 200 grams La Moderna® gears pasta
  • 1/4 cups tomato purée
  • 2 liters chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrot, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1 cup peas
  • salt
  • fresh cilantro, for decoration

  • In a saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat and fry the La Moderna® pasta until it takes on a slightly golden color.
  • Add the tomato puree and cook for a few minutes. Add the chicken broth and once it starts to boil, add the carrots and peas.
  • Cook covered for 9 to 11 minutes or until the pasta is al dente (firm on the inside and soft on the outside) and the vegetables are tender. Season with enough salt. Serve with cilantro.
