Russian Soup

  • 1 cup beet, chopped
  • 1 cup carrot , chopped
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 cup cabbage, grated
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup tomato purée
  • 1/4 cups table cream

  • Cut and peel the beets and carrots into small cubes.
  • Boil the beets and carrots in a covered pot with water along with the onion.
  • Add the chicken broth, tomato puree, and cabbage.
  • Boil for 15 minutes.
