Rustic Cream

Delicious recipe for rustic vegetable cream that contains zucchini flower, corn, and zucchini. Enjoy this Mexican dish any day of the week.

  • 2 onions
  • 1/2 kilos zucchini blossoms
  • 1 liter low-fat milk
  • 2 ears corn, tender, shelled
  • 1/4 kilos zucchini , in cubes
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • salt , and pepper

  • Finely chop the onion and the zucchini flower.
  • Next, sauté with half of the margarine.
  • When ready, remove from heat, blend and strain.
  • With the other half of the margarine, sauté the flour until it takes on a golden color.
  • Add the milk mixture with the zucchini flower and then add the corn kernels, zucchini, cream, salt and pepper.
  • Boil until the vegetables are cooked and serve hot.
