Traditional Mole de Olla

Delicious mole de olla so the cold doesn't bother us at all.

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 pasilla chiles
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 white onions
  • 4 new potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 ears corn
  • 1 sprig fresh epazote
  • 1/2 kilos skirt steak, in pieces
  • 1 grain salt

  • Blend the tomatoes, chiles, garlic, and onion in the blender.
  • On the other hand, wash and peel the potatoes, carrots, and xoconostle.
  • Cut the carrots and corn in half.
  • In the pressure cooker, pour the blended mixture with the meat and vegetables along with the sprig of epazote. Add salt to taste and cook for 30 minutes.
