Soupy Pasta Dish

Delicious recipe for a soupy pasta dish for kids and adults. It is an excellent option for lunch as it has pieces of potato and carrot that complement it and make it a richer and more complete dish.

  • 1 package penne rigate pasta
  • 2 tomatoes, kids or 1 large
  • 1/4 white onions
  • 1 carrot , medium
  • 1 potato , medium
  • 1 clove garlic
  • olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon granulated chicken bouillon
  • salt
  • 2 liters water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, or dry

  • In a skillet, fry the pasta until golden, set aside.
  • In a pot, pour 1.5 liters of water and heat. Add the potato and carrot previously washed, peeled, and cut into cubes. Let it come to a boil over high heat.
  • Meanwhile, in the blender, grind the tomatoes, garlic, onion, salt, consommé, and cilantro with the remaining water, add the mixture to the pot that is hot on the stove with the vegetables and let it boil again.
  • When it has come to a boil, add the fried pasta and follow the package instructions.
  • Serve hot.
