Traditional Mushroom Soup

With this traditional grandmother's recipe, you can prepare a delicious homemade mushroom soup.

  • 775 grams button mushroom
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 50 grams butter
  • 1 sprig epazote
  • 4 guajillo chiles
  • 1 liter chicken broth

  • Wash and cut the mushrooms, onion, and garlic.
  • Roast and soak the guajillo chiles, blend them, and strain.
  • In a pot with butter, sauté the onion and garlic a little, then add the mushrooms, reserving 5 mushrooms.
  • Blend the 5 mushrooms, add them, and season.
  • Add the sauce and chicken broth, add the epazote, let it boil for a few minutes, and serve.
