Curry Lentils

This recipe is ideal to accompany with white wine, it is a delicious curry-spiced lentil dish that you can use as a salad.

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 250 grams bacon, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 400 grams lentils, previously soaked
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • salt , and pepper

  • Heat a saucepan with olive oil. Add the onion and bacon, and lightly brown them for 3 minutes. Add the lentils and mix. Sauté again for 2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the lentils with curry (1 level tablespoon) and add 1 liter of water. Mix, cover, and cook for 40 minutes on low heat.
  • When cooking is complete, taste and adjust the salt, pepper, and curry to your liking.
