Blend the tomatoes, garlic, and onion. Cut the nopales into small cubes.
Strain what you blended and put it in a saucepan with a little oil over low heat. Add the chicken broth, epazote, and salt. Let it simmer until it thickens.
Add the nopales and adjust the salt to taste.
