Potato and Leek Soup

  • 200 grams leek, cut into julienne strips
  • 300 grams potato
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 liters chicken broth
  • 1 sprig thyme
  • 1 sprig oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorn
  • salt

  • Melt the butter and add the potatoes cut into small pieces.
  • Cook and stir constantly.
  • Add the leek and cook.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, lower the heat when it starts to boil, add the thyme, oregano, and peppers.
  • Season with a little salt and cook for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are well cooked.
  • Season, and serve hot.
