How to make a television with a cardboard box

Let your children's creativity run wild with this fun and easy television made from a cardboard box. Plus, you can create different canvases with drawings that interest the kids. The advantage of these easy crafts is that you can use recycled materials or items you already have at home that you were possibly thinking of throwing away.

Materials: Cardboard box Gray acrylic paint Round wooden sticks with pointed ends Adhesive tape Brush Plastic caps Cardstock Colored markers Handle pattern

Cut the downloadable template for the TV on the front of the box: measure 5 cm from each side, 3 cm from the top, and 3 cm from the bottom.

On the top of the box, drill some holes to insert the sticks.

Paint the box with gray acrylic or the color you prefer. Then let it dry.

Cut a piece of cardstock slightly smaller than the height of the box and about xxxx cm wide to serve as a canvas; the wider, the better.

Draw a story on the canvas with the markers.

With the adhesive tape, secure a stick on each side of the canvas and insert it into the box.

Trace the handle pattern on a piece of cardboard (the one for the screen can work), cut it out, paint it, and glue it.

Close the top of the box with tape and decorate the front with plastic caps and pieces of cardboard. Rotate the wooden sticks to see your drawings on the TV.
