How to cut wax paper circles

We usually buy rolls or large sheets of wax paper and it’s difficult to make them the size of your mold, even when you draw the circumference on the paper. Follow this step-by-step guide and discover how to cut wax paper to bake your cakes without them sticking.

To cut the wax paper correctly you need:

Take a piece of paper, cut it to make a square if it doesn’t have this shape.

Fold in half and then in half again.

Take the 2 corners of 1 side and fold them over to the opposite side to form a triangle. Try to make the folds very straight so that the circle is more accurate.

Repeat this process until you have a very thin triangle.

Take the mold and flip it upside down, place the tip of the triangle over the center of the mold and use your finger to mark where you need to cut.

Cut the wax paper and place it at the bottom of your mold.
