How to peel jicama

Jicama is a typical Mexican tuber ideal for your children's lunch or a healthy snack. Sometimes we feel lazy to prepare it because it's difficult to peel, so to avoid this, I’m sharing my secret for peeling it easily and quickly.

Step by Step

Wash the jicama with a scrubber to remove the dirt.

With a sharp knife, cut it in half.

Remove the skin with a knife to avoid leaving the little hairs.

Cut as you prefer, into sticks or slices.
