How to make almond milk

If you or a family member is allergic or intolerant to lactose, I share my secret for how to make delicious natural almond milk.

For the almond milk recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

The night before, soak the cup of almonds in a bowl with 1 liter of natural water.

The next day, discard the water and blend the almonds in a blender. Add 1 liter of clean water, the vanilla pod, and your preferred sweetener.

Place a strainer over a jar. Put the cheesecloth on top of the strainer and pour the liquid from the blender.

The leftover pulp can be used to make cookies, pancakes, or cakes. Store the milk in the fridge; it will keep well for up to 5 days.
