How to cook with parchment paper

When it comes to cooking, parchment paper is very helpful. It is commonly used for baking cookies or sometimes to replace greasing and flouring pans for breads or cakes; but it is also very useful for cooking food in its own juice and by steaming, using the heat of the oven or a pan. I share my secret so you know how to cook with parchment paper and thus obtain more nutritious and healthy, as well as delicious, food.

For this tip you need:

Place a sheet of parchment paper, 30 by 30 cm, on the baking tray where you will bake.

Place your preferred meat, already seasoned with salt and pepper, leaving enough space to enclose the meat in a sort of envelope.

Place slices of the selected vegetables on top of the meat.

Season the vegetables with the spices.

Drizzle oil over all the ingredients.

Seal the parchment paper like a turnover, making sure it is well sealed so that steam does not escape from any side.

Put it in the oven and let it cook; the time will depend on the thickness and size of your meat.
