How to Roast a Turkey

Turkey is traditional at Christmas, but if not cooked properly, it can become dry or tasteless; follow this tip to learn how to make roasted turkey for your Christmas dinner.

Step by Step

1
To roast a turkey you need:
2
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
3
Rinse the turkey with cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
4
Melt the butter with the wine and soak the cloth. Season the turkey.
5
Stuff the turkey with your favorite recipe, do not do it too early and do not pack it too tightly because the stuffing could remain raw and develop bacteria.
6
Secure the neck with toothpicks. And tie it with the thread.
7
Cover with the cloth, and bake for 30 minutes, placing the legs towards the back of the oven.
8
Remove from the oven and brush the uncovered parts with the butter mixture and lower the temperature to 180°C.
9
Every 30 minutes, brush the entire turkey, moistening the cloth. Do it quickly to avoid lowering the internal temperature of the turkey. Remove the excess liquid and reserve it for the gravy.
