How to peel garlic without smelling your hands

Garlic is one of the main ingredients in Mexican cuisine. However, handling it requires some skill since its strong smell can linger on your hands all day. I’m sharing this super secret to peel and chop garlic without the smell sticking to your hands.

Step by Step

1
For this tip you will need:
2
Choose the garlic you need and place it on a cutting board, first cut off the tip of the garlic head.
3
Now press down with a knife, as if you were going to crush it, so that the skin comes off.
4
Wipe with a damp cloth to completely remove the skin.
5
To chop them: Puncture the center of the garlic with a fork.
6
Insert the knife into each slot of the fork to make parallel cuts.
7
Now make crosswise cuts to chop into small cubes. Done! Now you can use them as you need, without having the smell on your hands.
