Fold the kitchen towels in half or into quarters, depending on their size.

With a little water, dampen the towels without soaking them.

Place the kitchen towels on the table in such a way that, when you put the cutting board down, they are at the ends of the back of the board and serve as friction between the board and the table.

Place the board on top of the towels and press down a little.
